A children's book written in haitian creole for the matènwa community learning center (MCLC) in haiti

"Plant se zanmi nou", translated as "plants are our friends", is about of the flora of Haiti, especially those that are edible or known to have medicinal qualities. It was written for the Matènwa Community Learning Center, a school in Haiti that specializes in education in Haitian Creole. It is my hope that children will become curious about the natural world and develop an interest in studying and harnessing the local resources available to them.

This project was awarded a grand by Suppi to publish and manufacture the books for wider distribution.
